No when I use the term innovation I mean the technical hardware side of things (what Carmack specializes in) and not gameplay elements. I think we have our wires crossed ;)
Same same. I went through about 5 play and charge batteries before I wised up and just bought rechargeable batteries.
Rage ran really and looked sharp on the 360 (version I played) but was typical of a game forced out the door before completion... I didn't think it was bad, it just kind of ended. And Doom 3 was fine, it innovated at the time using normal mapping and bumps... it was just a little more linear than the previous iterations, personally I loved it as at the time it maxed out my PC and blew my mind hehe.
But both games do innovate even if they aren't the best conceived, tha...
People should ban the words Shenmue from forums... too many of my pants are in half and it's still nothing more than a pipe dream :(

I don't see a problem with having an installation disc personally... The game will run off 1 disc after that horrifying 10 mins :/
Enjoy what you want malokevi, if you're satisfied that's fine. Personally I felt things became watered down and samey the 2nd half of this gen, and have concerns that the same trend will occur next gen (not to say I am not excited, as I am and pre-ordered up to the nines).
I've never played XIII so still not sure why everyone hates it :D

I plan on picking it up as a 2nd console, but no way at its current price point and without a few core games I would want to play on it.

If I was a developer I would try to make them all as appealing as each other... because I'd want it to sell. I think you're wrong.

NFS 2 was incredible... so so fast at the time. And Hot Pursuit (original) was one of the best split screen games on PS.
This new KZ looks amazing but in all honesty I've only played KZ2 and wasn't really that in to it (preferred Resistance for some reason), I am waiting until it's out before buying. Meanwhile I will be buying BF4 and Knack! :D
The world needs a next gen Sleeping Dogs. This game was brilliant.
Kinect and Occulus Rift so you can see your hands feet etc would be cool.
